Our Vision

Under God’s authority and His Word, Christ Sanctified Church exists to strengthen believers’ faith, convince skeptics, spread the Gospel of Grace, and bring as many people as possible to the knowledge of our Lord and savior Jesus-Christ.

Our Mission

We envision a strong church where every member is:
• able to develop the Christian values necessary to build a faith based on the Word of God.
• well equipped to better serve, live for God, know Him, and make Him known.

Our Beliefs

Statement of Faith

We believe:

  1. In the ultimate authority of the word of God; that the Holy Scripture is a library made up of 66 books inspired by God and it serves as the foundation for our faith (2 Timothy 3:16; Revelation 22:18-19).
  2. In One Eternal God, revealing Himself to mankind in three distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19; Mark 1:9-11)
  3. That, in Jesus Christ, dwells all the fullness of deity (Colossians 2:9). That is why, in His humanity, Jesus was a man; but in His divine nature, He was and He is God. His flesh was the Lamb, or God’s sacrifice. He is the only Mediator between God and men. (1Timothy 2:5)
  4. In the crucifixion, entombment, resurrection, ascent of Jesus Christ, who is now, our Advocate before the Father. (1 John 2:1)
  5.  That all men have sinned and are deprived of the glory of God; that repentance is the only means given to an individual to obtain forgiveness for his sins.   (Acts 2:38; 11:18)
  6.  In water baptism by submersion in the name of Jesus Christ or in the name of  the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:38, 19:4, Matthew 28:19)
  7.  In the baptism of the Holy Spirit and in spiritual gifts (Mark 1:8; 16:17; 1 Corinthians 12:1-11)
  8.  In holy communion (Luke 22:19-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-24)
  9.  In the washing of feet (John 13:4-5; 14-15)
  10. That justification, regeneration and the new birth are obtained by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ (Romans 4:25, 5:9)
  11. That sanctification, following the new birth, is obtained by faith in Christ, by the Word of God and by the Holy Spirit. (John 17:17-1 Peter 1:15-16)
  12. In whole being holiness: spirit, soul and body (1 Thessalonians 5:23). That the body of a Christian is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)
  13. That Holiness is God’s standard of living for His people (Hebrews 12:14, 1 Peter 1:15-16)
  14. In the solemnity of marriage between one man born male and one woman born female. Marriage is a divine institution, created by the Lord, and it resembles the union of Christ to His church (Genesis 2:18-24, Ephesians 5:22-33). That no one is authorized to end a marriage
  15. That male and female must differentiate in the way they dress and comport themselves in the assemblies. That women are not allowed to wear men’s clothing and vice versa. (Deuteronomy 22:5)
  16. That Christians should dress in modest clothing, with decency and good sense (1 Timothy 2:8-10)
  17. That all those who profess to serve God are forbidden to wear jewelry and make up (Titus 2:3-5 – 1 Peter 3:3-6)
  18. That women are commended to wear head covering in the assemblies (1 Cor. 11:2-16)
  19. In the dedication of children to the Lord in order to implore God’s blessings on them (1 Samuel 1:24-28 -Matthew 19:13-15)
  20. In voluntary financial support, not reluctantly or under compulsion (2 Cor. 9:7)
  21. That authority exists by the will of God. Like the family, governance is part of the order established by God for the world He created (Prov. 8:15-16 -Romans 13:1-7 – 1 Pet. 2:13-14)
  22. In respect due to established authorities (Romans 13:1)
  23. That our obedience to authorities is limited. We owe them respect when it comes to their own laws (if they don’t conflict with the Bible). However, when it comes to spiritual matters, the state has nothing to do with it (Matthew 22:21 – Acts 5:29- Titus 3:1)
  24. In prayers for the authorities (1Tim. 2:1-4)
  25. That the first day of the week is a memorial to the greatest historical world event: Jesus’ resurrection (Mark 16:9)
  26. That Christ is the invisible Head of the church (Ephesians 5:23).
  27. In its visible form, the church must be organized by the Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, Doctors, Deacons (Ephesians 4:11 – 1Timothy 3:1-13)
  28. In the believer’s conditional eternal security (Luke 6:4-6 – John 15:2-6 – Hebrews 6:4-6; 10:26-29 – James 5:19-20 -2 Peter 2:20-22)
  29. In the preliminary second coming of Jesus Christ. First, to resurrect the dead in Christ and rapture along with the saints alive. Followed by the 1,000 years reign on earth (1Thessalonians 4:17 – Revelation 20:1-6)
  30. In bodily resurrection (John 5:29- 1 Corinthians 15:35-36)
  31. In last judgment (Revelation 20:11-15) In eternal life for the righteous and eternal punishment for the evildoers (Matthew 25:46- Revelation 20:7-15; 21:8)
